    Galaxy Busters Elite

    Pilot a ship in the Galaxy Busters Elite Force and blast your way through a variety of locations and missions in the style of a 3rd person sci-fi themed rail-shooter. You are part of an elite group of pilots called the GBE (Galaxy Busters Elite), an independent force trusted with keeping warring corporate factions in check . 

    As a new recruit, you will blast your way through a variety of locations and missions in the style of a 3rd person sci-fi themed rail-shooter.


    Role: Game Designer / Unity designer / C# Programmer

    My goal with the enemies were to make simple to understand, but unique enough to give interesting gameplay.


    This was done as a class college project in UT Dallas - ATEC Labs, my job was enemy design, along with programming and general game design.

    I worked on all of these documents, but I personally did most of the effort on the EnemyAichart and Enemy Document, along with the enemy section on the Original pitch. I also worked on the Unity project itself. 


    This project gave me increased experienced in working in a 30+ team and interacting with other departments. My game design, programming C#, and Unity experience has also increased vastly working on this multi-level, in-depth game.

    Kall - A Rivals of Aether workshop character

    Kall is a Rivals of Aether workshop character that I designed, programmed, and drawn, all as a solo project.


    The goal of this was to make something all on my own and try to create a unique experience using only my own ideas.


    This projected improved my knowledge in the overall steps to building a character and design from nothing, as well as quickly prototyping examples. My GML experienced has also increased vastly. 

    Being able to learn how to do pixel art and animation has also been added to my skill list because of making this character.

    Tower Ascension

    Role: Unity Designer

    Go up the tower and face it's many hazards along the way! Be ready though, as you will have to react fast to incoming projectiles! 


    The game is a short demo of how I can use assets given to me and make a game out of them, even by using them in unexpected ways.


    Helped increase my speed and experience in Unity, C#, and rapid prototyping for design.

    Unity Prototype examples

    This video contains 2 examples of prototypes I made with 2 different guidelines.


    The first game is a to make a quick top down shooter with 2 different ways for the game to end.


    The second game is to make a game using Mei from overwatch mechanics + a race.


    Both of these used unity and I built from the ground up on design, code, and level design.

    I created a custom website using HTML and CSS to show case multiple pieces of knowledge I gained while I was at the Tech academy bootcamp.

    Critter crawl is a board game for kids wanting to get into board games! Play a more strategistic game of tag, while being a bad bad chicken!

    Face the secrets of the tomb in a 2v2 4 trial puzzle match. Inspired by "Keep talking and nobody explodes", you solve phystical puzzles in attempt to beat the other 2-man team.

    Secrets of Cryptic Tomb

    Stop/Find out the spies from finding the location and securing the zones in this intense lying game of up to 5-10 players!

    Who am I?

    Hello, I am Conner Vaeth,

    A highly motivated game designer with 6 years of experience in game programming and design. Experienced in using Unity and Unreal engines and proprietary toolsets. Proficient in balancing gameplay mechanics, implementing character combat, and scripting content.  

    What can I do?

    I have learned 4 years of Java and have almost 6 years of C++/C#. Along with this I have knowledge in HTML 4.0, Ruby, Unity, Unreal Engine 4/5, Game Maker(1&2), and RPG MAKER VX ACE. I also have certifications in Photoshop, HTML 4.0, and Microsoft access. 

    What I aim for.

    I aim to produce games that have good reputability and unique aspects.
